What Do You Wish To Enjoy?

It is Wednesday and time to be inspired by Jamie's Ridler's group of wishcaster's at Wishcasting Wednesday. Today Jamie asked, "What do you wish to enjoy?" I thought for a minute about all of the wonderful things that I am fortunate enough to enjoy and then I remembered something that means alot to mean. I wish to enjoy the beauty of each season. When I was working, I would go to work in the dark and come home in the dark and rarely got to really enjoy the different seasons. The first fall I was home I kept saying to my friends, "This is the most beautiful fall. The colors are awesome." I did the same thing with each season. And then I realized that yes it was a beautiful fall, or winter, or spring, or summer but it was even more beautiful because I was taking the time to enjoy it. So my wish is that I never miss or take for granted again any season of the year or actually any season of my life. Each one is special and I want to be fully present to enjoy each and every special moment that it has to offer.

Ginny, your wish is very insightful. This is a wish we need to all have. We live life - but are we really living? As Ginny wishes for herself, so I wish for her also.

Oh Ginny, I need to take the time to this as well. Summer is fading and I need to enjoy what is left of it. The warm sun on my face, the clarity of the skies. It is beautiful.

Yesterday my daughter and I were sitting in the backyard saying the exact same things about how lovely the Autumn color is, how delicious the softened warmth feels against our skin, how different the sun's glow is now as compared to just a few weeks ago. Thanks so much for the reminder that it's all beautiful.

I love your wish! I enjoy the passing of the seasons very much, although I have to admit this summer has been much too hot & humid for my liking!

Thank you for reminding me of something I so often take for granted - the beauty of nature. I want to enjoy ALL of the seasons (usually I hate winter!) equally. I shall work to find beauty in winter too, this year :)

Wonderful wish...to not take things for granted. Reminds me not to take people for granted either...or my health...or any thing. As you wish for yourself, so i join in wishing for you also.

It's so true...when we can slow down, we can really start appreciating what is around us. I'm constantly reminding myself to stay in the here and now, and I'm finally getting a bit better.

Ginny,

When I started working out of my home,I had the same reaction. I loved looking out the window and seeing the changes. It's amazing the show nature puts on, isn't it? Too often, we miss taking time to sit and enjoy it. So, good for you:~)

Our days are lengthening and soon it will be time to get up in the dark, get home from work in the dark. Often I hear people moaning about it, but if they didn't have this season, how would they appreciate all the others.
