Happiness is.........

This week it is easy to write about what made me happy.  Just thinking about my conversation with my four year old grandson on Wednesday makes me smile.  His parents went to an open house at his preschool and as we were eating dinner he looked at me very seriously and said, "You know Nana I will be in college soon." I tried to be just as serious as we talked about how time did go fast but it would be awhile before he went to college.  Then he told me how after college he would have his own house and children.  He was going to have two boys and a girls and he said he wanted me to babysit for them.  I told him I would be delighted to babysit for his children.  So now I know that even when I am in my mid nineties I will be wanted and needed.  What could be better than that.  Have a great weekend!!

Hi Ginny,
Lovely story! This age is particularly delightful, I think. They are really making connections, looking ahead, planning and dreaming. And to have such an honored place in their dreams - what a gift!
