Friday's Special Moments of Gratitude

It seems like the weeks keep flying by no matter how hard I try to slow things down.  Yesterday we went to see our oldest grandson sing in a school play. As I watched him sing his little heart out I was so grateful for the moments we get to spend with him and his brothers.  One minute they are tiny babies and the next they are up on stage singing and smiling and having a wonderful time performing without a care in the world.  And that is what I am most grateful for this week.  I am so happy that I can share these special moments with my grandchildren.  Even if I could make time stand still, I don't think I would.  I would just slow it down a little so I would be sure not to miss any of the special moments that are there for us to enjoy if we just take the time.  What special moments are you most grateful for this week?

I am linking the above watercolor to Paint Party Friday an event I look forward to each week.

What a lovely and calming landscape! Nice reminder too to be thankful for the little things in life. It is sometimes easy to forget when you are wrapped up in the day to day with little ones. Happy PPF!

That is such a pretty landscape painting. Such soft colors. And I know what you mean about wanting time to slow down a bit. Children
grow up so fast. My youngest graduates from high school this year. I am cherishing my moments with her, too.
Blessings,
Tricia

I love these "grateful" posts and the reminder to take time to be thankful/grateful for the moments in our day. It's so easy to let them slip by. Stopping here reminds me to pay attention.

BTW your painting is getting better and better. I like how subtle this painting is, yet it grabs my eye, making me pay attention to the details. Well done, Ginny:~)

A lovely spot to sit a while. Nice work on this.
I agree with taking time to enjoy the little important moments in life and if only we could slow them down a bit would be such magic. Lovely, lovely post!
