Wishcasting Wednesday "What do you wish to make progress on?"

It's Wednesday and time to see what Jamie at Jamie Ridler Studios asks the Wishcasters to reflect upon.  Today Jamie asked "What do you wish to make progress on?"  That's easy.  My book!  I have been diligently writing this summer and I am making progress.  It  is fun to see the story unravel and decide what my heroine should do next.  Although I am creating all of her adventures, sometimes it seems like the book is writing itself and I am just along for the ride.  So I would like to continue to make progress on my book and share this experience with others.  If you are a writer and would like to share what you are doing, I would love to hear from you.

What is your character's name? As you wish for yourself, I wish for you also.

I feel like right now your character has her arms raised and is shout-singing "ta-da!"

To continued success on your novel! I both love and hate when my characters take over a story!

As you wish for yourself, so I truly wish for you also.

How cool is that!!! :) I love it when the words just flow...being in the Zone! And when I participated in NanoWriMo those few times, I remember how fun it was to see what my MC would do next - because I rarely knew ahead of time! LOL

As you wish for yourself, I wish for you as well!

All the best with your writing! I have written stories - a long time ago - eventually I want to get back to that.

I'm so excited to hear that your creative process has taken off! So many authors say that the books start to write themselves. What fun!

I just wished to make progress on my novel, too. :) I love those parts of the story when the story seems to be telling itself. What a great feeling!

Congratulations on your summer writing progress.

Ginny,

It must be a nice feeling to have the book flowing like it sounds like it is!!!

You know what I'm up to...the online class. I am learning a lot about the "bones" of fiction writing, but it is HARD. Perhaps a bit more than I expected. It takes a lot of time.

I'm so pleased you having fun with your book. Good for you:~)

As you wish for yourself, I also wish for you my dear friend. If you desire to see mine, pop over here http://adgb.blogspot.com/2011/07/wishcasting-wednesday-what-do-you-wish.html

I am a writer, but I usually do the most writing in November for a thing called NANOWRIMO. You write 50,000 in 30 days in the month of November. I wrote Days of Corn Tortillas last year and I have been thinking about editing and doing more with that. I always write on my blogs and such hoping to inspire someone or such...I love to write and get the Writer's Digest Writing Prompts to keep me going, but usually, in my life, I have enough to say :)

I've always wanted to write a book and my daughter is working on one right now so this is right up my alley! As you wish for yourself, so I wish for you too!
