Wishcasting Wednesday "What do you wish to transform?"

Today at Wishcasting Wednesday Jamie asked, "What do you wish to transform?"  I wish to transform my backyard into a private sanctuary.  It doesn't have to be big or spectacular but it does have to be a place where I can go and read or draw or meditate. Now that spring is here I am going to  begin to plant flowers and transform one of my favorite places into a private retreat where I can go everyday.  The picture above was taken in Barbados and I can only image what type of place was at the end of the driveway. This was beautiful to look at and to take a picture of but I believe that with a little imagination and work I can make my personal retreat into something just as special.  What do you wish to transform?

What a lovely idea! As Ginny wishes to transform her garden, so do I wish for her as well.

What a great way to turn a wish into reality. I'm looking forward to hearing more about your gardening efforts.

Now, I'd like to make my own wish. I wish that you would describe for me how this retreat would look if I were to visit.

What flowers would I see, what kind of place would I sit to read with you and, like gardens of old, what secret would you hide in your garden retreat?

I like the Barbados picture and you're right it makes me want to know what's at the end of this road:~)

Ginny,

I just read your short story, The Witness Protection Program, I loved it! I can't believe you wrote this in just twenty minutes!

You write very well. Your descriptions are good and I could easily imagine feeling the way your character did.

As you can probably guess, I LOVED the ending. Today, writers would end it with her waking up disappointed to see her life as it is. Instead, you let her use her dream to recognize the potential for change in her life.

Please put this on your main page. It's really good or let me feature it at my site one day:~) You have my email, contact me!

How come we can't comment on it? Will you be putting up more?

That is such a wonderful wish! I admire anyone who can create things outside like gardens and such as it is so not my area.

As you wish for yourself, so I truly wish for you also. Enjoy your haven!

What a perfect wish for spring! What a lovely spot it will be to relax in, create art, read, daydream, meditate! May your refuge be all that you want it to be and more!

I so wish for you to receive your dream garden. You may want to look into a zen garden it is more of a place to think and read. They are simple in form as adding to many color and forms will distract you. I was a shade gardener and loved to sit in my yard and meditate and become part of the yard. It was quite wonderful.
Thank for stopping by.
