Things have not changed much as I have gotten older. I still love to read. I still love a good mystery and I still love to sit on the couch alone while other family members grocery shop. What might be interesting is to reread a Nancy Drew novel and see what it was about her that made her so fascinating that even today I can remember so much about her life and adventures.
It is Wednesday and time to join Jamie Ridler's Wiscasting group once again. Today Jamie asked, "What do you wish to read?" That one is easy. Ever since I was very very young I loved to read and I loved to read a good mystery. Nancy Drew was my favorite detective when I was little. For me there was nothing better than sitting on the couch alone on a Saturday morning with Nancy Drew while everyone else was grocery shopping. It didn't matter how long the rest of the family was gone I never left the couch because I was too afraid to move. So not only was Nancy Drew a great detective she was also a wonderful babysitter.
