What do you want to focus on?

It's Wednesday and time for Jamie's prompt of the week.  This week Jamie asks, "What do you wish to focus on?"  I realize that to get good at something you have to give it your undivided attention and lots of attention at that.  When I lost all of my weight I was totally focused on it.  When I was opening a new school it got all of my attention.  When I retired I began trying lots of new things, taking classes, and just trying to reinvent myself.  It was a good thing to do and at that time I really didn't want to focus on any one thing.  I just wanted to take some time to just be.  Now, four years later I realize that it is time to focus on something again. At this point in time, I would like to focus on my writing.  I've started a story which may turn into a book and I feel compelled to finish it and see where it goes.  I have always loved to write and so now is the time to write. It is time to give my writing the attention and focus it deserves.

It's so exciting to see you starting to focus and put all your energies into writing, which seems to be your passion. Write that book! As Ginny wishes for herself, I lovingly wish for her also.

Excellent! I love that you look back and acknowledge that all of your previously accomplishments took your *Full Focus*. I am still trying to learn that one.

As Ginny wishes for focus on her writing, so too do I wish for Ginny and her new book!♥

Hi Ginny!

I have learned that to accomplish a goal takes a great deal of focus, too. The more goals we have, the more scattered our focus becomes and, I think, the more scattered WE become. Focused energy is really powerful and is the key to success, I believe. ;o) I'm so excited you've decided to focus on your writing! As you wish for yourself, so I wish for you also.

Ginny,

How exciting it is to hear that you are able to focus on your passion. As Ginny Baker stated, I too believe that focus is the key. As you wish for yourself, I wish for you.
