Wednesday's Walk

As I walked through the arboretum, I was struck by the natural beauty that surrounded me as well as the beautiful sculptures created by man.  Each one was different and each one told a story.  As I looked at this one, I thought of how important it is to spend time with someone you care about, sharing a quiet moment in a beautiful environment. Sometimes just being together is enough while other times are meant for talking.  This sculpture says it all without ever saying a word.

I left a comment on the previous post which was meant to be the comment for the one here with the sculpture.
Hope it all makes sense.

What a lovely statue, and you captured it so beautifully, Ginny! Sometimes wordless communication is the best.

Ginny -- Wise words and reflective picture. I like that the two people are next to each other, but looking in different directions. It's true that sometimes just being with someone without words can be very comforting. Jim and I often sit on our screened porch and read. It's nice, but lately it's been too hot. I hope all's well with you:~)
