The Magic of Beginnings

And suddenly you know, it's time to start something new and trust the magic of beginnings.  Meister Eckhart

I love new beginnings.  It could be the start of a new day, of a new week, or a new year.  It could be the end of one class and the beginning of another.  There is something exciting and magical about beginning something new.  Beginnings are full of possibilities and what ifs.  They are full of promise and hope. Beginnings usually bring with them some type of learning and meeting new people.  They may bring a little fear but that is ok as long as I don't let that fear stop me from moving ahead.   I love the feeling of accomplishment when I finish a project and I always give myself some time to enjoy that feeling but I also love the feeling of anticipation when I start something new. I have almost finished all of the requirements to become a certified Master Creativity Coach.  It's been a wonderful process and I am so glad that I took on the challenge. I am celebrating all of the people that I met and the things that I have learned.  I am anxious to share what excites me about the program with others but I am also excited to begin learning something new once again.

This week suddenly I knew it was time to start something new.  I am not quite sure exactly what it is yet but I am sure it will appear just when I am ready to start. There is definitely something magical about beginnings and I love bringing magic into my life.  What about you?  Are you most excited about beginning something new or finishing a project?  What brings magic into your day and life?

When you share your talent and your dreams with the world, magic happens.  Let the magic begin!

The gradual cool colored washes in your painting came out marvelous. I love the excitement of new beginnings, but I thoroughly enjoy the satisfaction of completing something. Blessings!

I agree about the excitement of beginnings, though I'm the sort who has great resistance to overcome before beginning something. I read once that people tend to fall into 3 categories, those who live to begin things, those who prefer to take something begun by someone else and bring it to maturity, and those (possible like Arnoldo) who like to finish the thing. You are probably the first sort, I don't know whether i am the middle lot or the end. Cheers!

I love the excitement of new beginnings too but it takes me a long time to take the first step toward one. This is lovely Ginny. Happy SS

First, I love the picture. Like Lorraine said about it, it is very calming. I spent a few minutes just staring at it and taking a few needed deep breaths. Thank you!

This is an interesting post. I'm kind of at the same place. I feel a need to start something, but I'm not sure what it is and where it will take me. We'll see...

I hope you had a nice Fourth of July:~)
