Harriet Tubman
When we are little we all have dreams. We dream about who we are and who we want to become. Sometimes our dreams come true. Sometimes we forget them. And sometimes we lose our courage to follow our dreams.
It's never too late to begin dreaming again. When you close your eyes what do you see? Are you living at the lake or the ocean? Are you about to take a trip to space? Do you have your toe shoes on once again? Have you taken over the corner of a room for your space; to do whatever you want in it? Are you painting, writing, singing, dancing?
Our dreams can be big or they can be small but they are our dreams. We need to cherish them, to water them, and to give them the care and attention they need. Dreams rarely come true overnight; but they can come true if we have the patience and put in the work.
So let me ask you again:
- What is your dream?
- What does it look like?
- What does it feel like?
- What is one small step that you can take this week to make your dreams come true?
- Can you or will you take that step?
I would love to know more about your dreams. I find that sharing my dreams with others helps to make them more real and once they begin to feel real and I take that first step, I am always amazed to see where the journey takes me.
When you share your dreams and your talent with the world, magic happens. Let the magic begin! Ginny
