Life is change.  Growth is optional.  Choose wisely.

Karen Kaiser Clark, Writer

When I saw this pumpking sitting alone among all of the greenery, I wondered what would happen if it was a person sitting among other people who were very different from her.  Would she change to meet their needs, would they change to meet hers, or would they join together to learn and grow from each other?  I hope it would be the last.  What do you think?

What a great analogy! I'm sure life is always providing us with food for thought if we only become observant, like you have here. And I think that single, solitary pumpkin makes such a pretty picture sitting there among all the other plants and the flowers. The vines look like they're reaching out to embrace the big 'ol pumpkin!

I am overjoyed to hear that my previous comment was so helpful to you! It makes my very heart smile. :~) I am in the process of trying to figure things out for myself, right now, regarding what I'm supposed to be doing. I knowing what I love to do, but I haven't been able to make it pay for me. I can't take another day of going to a job I can't stand (though I have to), so I am making it a point of figuring this out for myself, and pronto!

Oh and how true that is in seeing people that growth is optional. Takes alot of work to make good come out of some of life experience, but so worth it

That's an interesting thought,it sits there feeling different to all around. I wouldn't like this to be me but I think the last option is the best one!

Ginny,

Sorry..I've really been dropping a few balls lately. I apologize.

Regarding this post, I think this would be a great writing prompt. I think I also like the last option:~)

Have a good day!
