This has been a great week. I got to do lots of fun and creative things as well as meet with old friends. Sunday I met with an image consultant. As many of you know I love TV and especially like What Not To Wear. Well, I had my own What Not To Wear experience except I wasn't turned in by friends and I didn't get to spend $5,000 of someone else's money. But I did get to learn a lot about myself and my choice of clothes. It was a great learning experience and the next time I go shopping I will definitely be looking at clothes differently than I have in the past.
On Wednesday I met with a wonderful staff. The day before school started everyone met in the library for an hour to create their own vision board. I was a little worried about how things would go because I know how important time is to teachers but everyone got involved and talked and laughed and created awesome boards and it was truly a great experience. The teachers were so positive and wrote great comments. I am going to go back next month hopefully with my new friend and image consultant as a partner. I think the teachers would really enjoy hearing her speak.
Tuesday will be my first writing class. I am really looking forward to learning more about the art of writing.
