Today is my birthday and a day I want to celebrate this year. Although I always spend time with family and friends on my birthday I really don't like the idea of getting old and so I tend to give very little time or thought to my birthday. But this year I decided that my birthday was special and that I should celebrate it and enjoy it. Since there is a very unusual snowstorm in our area today, I will be celebrating with my husband at home but that is special too. The world looks so beautiful right now covered in white. It is early and so there is noone out. Everything is so quiet and still! It is a perfect day to do yoga in front of the window so I can see the snow. It will be a perfect day to read or paint or write. Nowhere to go, nothing to do. Just a day to enjoy being home! What could be better than that?
