Happiness Equals Lots of Supportive Comments!

It's time to reflect upon the week and determine what stands out as making me happy.  I try to do this on a daily basis and then post about my thoughts on Friday as part of the discussion that revolves around The Happy Book.  This week I want to thank everyone that responded to my post on Wednesday.  Your comments were upbeat and encouraging and just the words I needed to get busy on my good food/healthy eating vision board.  This morning I gathered all my materials and began cutting and pasting all of my pictures of bright, colorful, and healthy fruits and vegetables. I want to add more pictures of fish, and whole grains, and nuts so that when I go to open the refrigerator or cupboards I am reminded of the things that actually taste good as well as make me feel good.  I have been thinking about doing this for some time but I just never seemed to get around to it.  I have a vision board in my office that reminds me to relax in elegance and I love looking at it each day so I don't know why I put off making a board for my kitchen. But everyone's enthusiastic comments were just what I needed to stop thinking and start taking action.  My colorful vibrant board is on the refrigerator and that along with everyone's great comments makes me very happy today.  Thank you so much for your help and support.  It's just what I needed.

Don't you love the supportive blogging community that we have....I feel like I've made so many new friends in the last year.
So glad the comments got you motivated--it would be great to get a peek at your vision board....can you post a photo?

I had to go read your Wednesday's post - what a great thing! I love the idea of the board, and I love the responses that you get - the idea that we wish for you as you wish for yourself. This is a wonderful time to implement diet changes - the fruits and vegetables that start coming in locally are so inviting. But I know it takes a little practice to keep things on hand so that we don't just reach for our old standbys! Happy week!

I think it great that you are making your vision board. I believe that it is a positive thing to do and have around. Mine is on my bedroom wall. Does it match my room? NO. But everyday I wake up to inspiration. Good luck as you continue your journey in being healthy & HAPPY!

What a wonderful idea to make a vision board! I love vision boards and as a Nutritional Consultant and someone who loves feeling vibrant I always put pictures of colorful fruits and veggies on my board. Here is to your glowing health and happiness.

Good for you, Ginny, in making a good food/healthy eating vision board! Your words and actions have inspired me and I think I'll make one, too! Many blessings to you.
