Getting Ready for Spring

It's amazing how fast the weeks go.  Today is Wednesday so it is time to think about Jamie Ridler's question of the week, "What do you wish to make time for?"  I really want to make time for enjoying nature, going outside and planting flowers, and  making my small area between the garage and the house look like a Charleston Courtyard.  It snowed yesterday and it was so peaceful and quiet but this year I am really ready for spring and all the beauty that comes with it.  So for now I am going to look through magazines and learn more about what I should plant so that when the time comes I am ready to create a beautiful spot that I can call my own.

As Ginny wishes so I wish for her. I can't wait to get some nice weather here in MA. I can't wait to enjoy nature with my kids. We plan to have a couple of gardens this year, veggie, herbal and flower. I can't wait to enjoy being outdoors!

Oh, I love this wish! We still have snow on the ground, but I've been mentally planning my garden for the spring. May your small space be filled with grace. As Ginny wishes for herself, so I wish for her also.

Sounds good to me - we had two days of warm sun which led us believe spring was on the way but then woke up to freezing and damp again :( I really need to sort my garden out. So, what does a Charleston courtyard look like? I'll have to see if I can find one on google!
