Yellow asters always brighten the day.
It is Friday which means it is time to reflect upon the past week and the weekend that is coming up. It is time to be grateful for all of the wonderful and simple things that I was able to enjoy. This week I am grateful for:
Long telephone conversations with my sister who weathered the hurricane safely
Time spent with family and friends
Riding in the convertible with the top down on cool mornings
Evidence that fall is approaching
Actually starting to become a slightly better cook
