Yesterday, we picked up my eighty-eight year old father-in-law at the airport. It is amazing to be around someone with so much vitality and a continous desire to learn. I continue to enjoy taking pictures and playing with them afterwards to make them a little sharper or a little straighter. For some reason, I am really enjoying this and so I am grateful that I have found a new hobby that brings me such pleasuure.
I found this quote by Marianne Williamson which I really like. "Joy is what happens to us when we allow ourselves to recognize how good things really are." Since I have started this gratitude practice I am reminded everyday just how good things really are. What are you grateful for this week?
