Friday's Special Moment of Gratitude

Just Be!
It's Friday which means it is time to visit all of my fellow artists at Paint Party Friday.  It is also the day that I spend just a few minutes sharing what I am grateful for this week.  This has been a week of fireworks, celebrations, and time with family and friends. It has been a week with quiet moments, time to paint, and time to read. It's been a week that has had it ups and its down.  It has been an ordinary week filled with ordinary days but somehow that is what has made it so special.  Just a quiet week where there was lots of time to "just be".  Sometimes that is all that you need.
What are you most grateful for this week?

I am so grateful that my husband returned safely after three weeks of biking in the mountains of Italy -- an epic trip for him and anxiety-induc ing for me. All is well! Have a wonderful weekend, Ginny!

So glad you had a great week! After reading your post I started to think about fireworks and your flower struck me as nature's firework that last all summer! Beautiful flower!

Beautiful painting - it makes me happy!
I'm grateful for my family, that my teenage daughter and I spent some wonderful time together. I'm also grateful for the flowers, growing veggies, birds and squirrels in my garden.

What a beautiful flower painting, ginny. Thanks for the gratitude sharing. I am most grateful for the time that God has given to me. To use it wisely with the people I love and to work on my dreams. Have a great day!

What are you channeling Picasso? That picture is stunning and it looks like Picasso might have painted it and I mean this as a definite compliment. I love Picasso's paintings. He may have struggled in his life, but he sure knew how to use color.

The title for the painting is perfect, as well. I'm so pleased you share your photos and paintings. I love to look at them.
