Friday's Special Moment of Gratitude

I just don't think time is supposed to go this fast.  It is Friday once again and that means time to party with all of the wonderful artists at Paint Party Friday.  Since joining the party in January, I have painted something every week and I believe it is making a difference. I am not so critical of what I am doing and I don't expect to finish something the first time I sit down to paint or draw.
This has been a nice week.  The construction is getting closer and closer to being done.  The craftsman who have worked on the project are really giving their all and we so appreciate their talents and their dedication to what they are doing.  There are so many talented people in this world and it is fun to see how people can use their creativity in so many different ways.
This week the sky has been blue, the sun has been shining, the wind has been blowing (I love a breeze) and the flowers are growing.  Who could ask for anything more?  I hope that you have a wonderful weekend.  There are so many simple things to enjoy each day if we slow down and take time to recognize and appreciate them.  It took me awhile to realize this.   But now that I do, I want to share this simple fact with everyone I know!
I would love to know what made your week special.

My week was pretty special in many small ways, but mostly because it was filled with creativity... nothing beats that does it...xx

What a wonderful painting! I've been inspired to keep painting since I joined PPF also, just seeing what others have created adds fuel to my fire. I hope the lovely breezes blow all weekend for you. Happy PPF!

this looks like a total paradise and somewhere I'd very much like to go! I love how positive you are and always looking at the glass half full. it's something we could all do with doing more of!. This week, I'm glad that I had my sister over for a visit from England as we don't see nearly enough of each other and we took in a Don Williams concert so I'm glad that at 70 years of age he is still sounding as awesome as he did when we were children listening to my dad's vinyl album of is greatest hits!

Ginny, lovely! Your pieces are really looking great, keep enjoying! It has been very windy and breezy this way too. I've been enjoying being curled up with a good book, I just love those quiet moments and a good read, such pleasure!

My 4y/o son was standing next to me while I viewed your painting and exclaimed: "Oooh, can we please go swim in that lake?" This was my first week of participating in PFF, and I have been so encouraged by other artists - that made the week pretty special!
