Friday's Special Moment of Gratitude - Believe in Yourself

Magic is believing in yourself.  If you can do that, you can make anything happen.
                                                                                            Johann Wolfgang von Goethe

Friday has always been special.  It's the end of the week and the beginning of the weekend. When I was working it meant time to rest, to be quiet, and rejuvenate.  Today it means beginning the day with a perfect yoga class, visiting friends at Paint Party Friday, and having lunch with friends I met several years ago in a writing class.  When we met three years ago, we had no idea that one of us would publish a book, another would start a blog and become a coach, while the third would become a grandmother to a beautiful baby boy while continuing to write her book.  Life is filled with wonderful possibilities, if we continue to be open to them.

I love the quote above.  When you are learning something new it is sometimes hard to believe that you ever accomplish all that you want to do.  But when you believe in yourself, and give yourself the gift of time, you can make anything happen.  I have been learning about social media this week and how it can help to grow a business.  It was interesting, overwhelming, fun, and fascinating all at the same time.  The real "magic" will be when it is all up and running just the way it is supposed to.  I really believe it will be fun to make the magic happen.

As the world continues to change right before my eyes, I am grateful for every minute that I am able to be a part of the changes that are happening.  It is fun to learn new things, to meet new people, and to take on new challenges.  It makes life interesting and exciting.  As you look back over your week, what have you experienced that you are grateful for?

When you share your dreams and talent with the world, magic happens.  Let the magic begin!

Even when you used bright green, it still has a peaceful feel to it, very lovely.

I love your beautifully soft landscapes-they have a touch of magic to them. After this week I am grateful there was no fire in our home, grateful I am well again, and grateful we had the money to replace the appliances that went this week :):)

I'm thank for your calming and inspiring post. I've been a bit scattered this week, adjusting to my kids being home from school for the summer. I need to remember to be thankful and enjoy these times together.

Gorgeous painting. It looks like there might be trout in that water. If I were there with my fly rod I'd have a peaceful time wading. I enjoy feeling the rush of water against my legs.

I'm still reluctant to jump in with both feet, if you can say so. I'm just dipping my toe in the adventure of art making, which has been a dream since I was 12. Now I'm a mother of three (9, 13 and 16 years old)!
Thank you for sharing your thoughts, it is a pleasure to visit, admire your beautiful art and take in your wisdom.

Happy PPF
Ilona xx

That is such a lovely painting - I like it because it makes me dream of the painted place instead of just putting it before me.

I also love learning. There was a time when I felt guilty about it, that if I was learning something and not immediately applying it i was wasting time and money, but since then I have accepted that learning is just a part of who I am and I have to learn to be truly me.

Ginny this is another lovely peaceful piece, I love that lime green and pink together, like a hill full of heather gently blowing in the breeze. It's been a busy week with my sister and nephew (16 months), I'm grateful for happy baby smiles and lots of cuddles!
