The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched - they must be felt with the heart.
                                                                                                                                             Helen Keller

There are many times when I see a beautiful piece of art that I can't put into words why I like it, I just know that it speaks to my heart.  I've blamed my lack of words on my lack of knowledge but I am not going to worry anymore about explaining why I like something.  I think it is enough, or maybe more than enough, that something touches and speaks to me.
This is a beautiful time of year.  I have promised myself that each day I will take time to notice something beautiful in the world that surrounds me. This simple intention has filled each day with wonderful surprises.  The kindness that has been shown to me each day by friends and strangers alike is truly beautiful.  The color of the trees, the sound of the wind, and the laughter of my grandsons are all beautiful and bring joy to my eyes, ears, and heart.  Finding beauty in my world brings me both peace and joy while it opens unexpected doors.  What did you see, feel, hear, or experience this week that was beautiful to you. I truly would love to know!

When you share your talents and your dreams with the world, magic happens.  Let the magic begin!

Snow falling gently, birds eating at my feeder, the soft feel of my cats fur. All simple pleasures and beautiful in their own right.

Such a beautiful post and I feel the same. I said somethings similar about loving colour this week, I have no explanation, it just is!! The gorgeous leaves of our late autumn fills me with so much joy. I all but squealed when I saw the solid red maple tree in our yard!! Gorgeous!
When healing all one can do is find joy in a myriad of simple moments!
Wishing you love as you grieve! So glad you have a nice support system!

There is always such beauty here! Holding my dad's hand whilst walking by the sea was a beautiful moment for me.

What brings the most happyness to me is the smallest of things. It might be a sunbeam in some straws, or like this week the most spectacular rainbow even with a shadow rainbow. Such things fills my heart with joy and happyness.
Love your piece of art as well as your words.

what a calming and beautiful painting and post. I have to say that although I don't like the winter I enjoyed a bit of magic last night as our first bit of snow fell. Despite the cold and all I try to take joy in the things each changing season brings. Our sunsets are so vibrant now and beautiful and even though my summer birds have gone I have new groups of birds visiting each day.

This reminds me of your post about resilience. Your words show just how resilient you are because you're looking at the beauty around you. This doesn't surprise me.

As far as what I've seen...it was my eldest daughter coming through the airport gates and how beautiful she is. I finally got to hug her:~)

The Helen Keller quote is lovely.
