It is day twenty-one of AEDM and this is the first year I have fully participated although I didn't start until day five.  It is also the first time I have kept an art journal and I am enjoying both so much that I hope to continue both everyday throughout the next year.  It is an exciting goal and I am anxious to see where this goal will take me creatively and artistically. I have learned so much from the other bloggers and I am looking forward to learning more.  What will be really exciting is when the day comes that I am not only learning but actually helping others grow as well.    How has participating in this challenged affected your work?

This is a very pretty journal page. I'm glad you are enjoying your art journal. And I think you are already helping others to grow with all the lovely thoughts and beauty that you share. :)

Lovely flower drawing! I'm so glad that you are enjoying the journaling. The challenge has forced me to prioritize the time for something that I love...creating. It is too easy to get caugh up in day to day tasks. As much as I love teaching, I need to remember to grow myself as well.

It's so nice to see the abundance of your talents overflowing on this site.

Your drawings are lovely and keeping that journal will hopefully always remind you of your creative side, which is definitely in full bloom.

You and I are supposedly in the "winter" of our lives, but phooey on that idea! There really isn't a "winter" of life unless you chose it and you have NOT -- the flowers are definitely blooming inside you:~)

The challenge has helped me to make my work a priority... to often other things like the washing and ironing and washing floors gets in the way, but this has shown me that the world doesn't fall apart if I get in and paint rather than keeping a house in pristine condition... mind you the floors are starting to look scary bad!!!

So happy for you and your journal. You are doing a beautiful job with it. I'm so excited about my new journal and even bought another one for next month and will continue next year.

It is a great feeling sharing this with others and hoping to bring some happiness and inspiration to them.

What exactly is AEDM? Might be something for me to check out as well.

Have a lovely Thanksgiving with your family and thank you for sharing.
